The following year, Handler performed on the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour in the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend, HBO and Comedy Central have all broadcast her stand-up show. She was named as host of the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in the year 2010. This made her the second woman in the history of television, after Roseanne Barr, to host the VMAs.
